10. Crises are good

In fact, we’ve all learned that crises are negative. and why all this?

In the beginning there was great love. Then gradually came everyday life. And with it problems, misunderstandings and a lack of sex. But that doesn’t have to mean the end of your relationship. Love coaches explain how to become happier, more fulfilled and more in love!

Eva-Maria and Wolfram Zurhorst

are married – and by the way one of the most successful coaching duos in German-speaking countries. They both know what they’re talking about – and explain what you can do to get a relationship going again and keep it happy. Their basic principle: You have to learn to love yourself and to take control of your life. The partner will respond to it. Here are ten top tips, inspired by the Zurhorst relationship concept.

1. Mindfulness

You can just live together – or really live together! What is meant by that? Come home after work and be right there. So no routine hug and a quick kiss. Feel each other’s warm skin. Hold your partner in your arms a little longer than usual. Notice how your lips feel when you kiss them. Important: don’t talk about it beforehand! Instead, be “secret” for a few days, but be mindful of it. You will be surprised how different (and better!) A lot feels.best essay help service

2. It’s easier with a sense of humor

The secret of many working relationships is the common sense of humor. It brings a looseness and playfulness into everyday life, which has a positive effect on many areas of life. But get it right: you don’t have to laugh at the same things. Take some things with a wink. Be more generous to one another and see the amusing side of some quirks. You don’t have to take every little thing seriously!

3. Forgive

If you keep warming up past injuries mentally and emotionally, you are not doing anything good for yourself or your partner. The Zurhorsts therefore recommend the following exercise. As soon as you are wading in the swamp of the past, tell yourself “stop!” Then you change your point of view in your mind and pray vigorously: “I don’t want to feel bad any longer. I don’t want to be the victim anymore. I let go of everything now and stay with me, my strength and my path.” Warning: intensive practice is necessary – but it pays off.

4. Look carefully – especially at yourself

In order to bring about positive changes, you have to deal with the current situation. This does not necessarily mean the state of your relationship, but your life itself. Go through each area of life. How do you spend togetherness (sitting in front of the TV together doesn’t count)? What role do friends play in your life? How are you doing at work? What gives you strength and what only serves to distract you from problems? Do you feel fulfillment or dissatisfaction? The feelings and thoughts that arise show where to start. Important: The change has to start with you!

5. Fight computer death

He sits in front of his PC a lot, plays games and secretly watches internet porn at night. First thing in the morning she turns on the radio and lets it shower her. During joint activities, the cell phone is constantly on or the evenings are spent mostly in silence in front of the television. This can not go well! Zurhorst’s tips: Plan specific technology-free evenings, days or weekends. Turn off the computer, turn off the cell phone. You then consciously devote the time you gain to yourself and / or your partnership.

6. Thinking protects against fling

Even if many do not want to admit it: infidelity is an almost inevitable topic in long-term relationships. Before cheating (or for processing afterwards) there are some serious questions you should ask yourself. What’s stopping me from being more daring and passionate in my actual relationship and in my normal life? What is it that I rediscovered and lived out through the third person in myself? And how could I change my life to experience these qualities and sensations without the cheating? Be aware: the third party is only human too. Neither your current partner nor your affair can give you something in the long run that you are basically missing.

7. Freshening up your sex life

A long runner among relationship problems is the lack of sex life or the fact that you have fallen asleep. The longer you are dissatisfied in this regard, the more shameful, inhibited and listless you become with the partner you usually know so well. The first step towards change? Say “Stop!” and tell your partner that you don’t want to go on like this. Often the other person feels exactly the same on this point. The Zurhorsts advise a new definition of sex. “Somewhere in the middle of sex there is an experience of total connectedness – like nowhere else.” Stop simply aiming for an orgasm anymore. Let go. Attack yourself again, look yourself in the eye, feel inside yourself, perceive the other and yourself correctly again. Take the pace out of it. The important thing: practice! It doesn’t matter whether the desire is there. It pays to stay tuned on this point.

8. Being right is overrated

“Do I want to be right or do I want to be happy?” Love suffers from stubborn positions. “Whatever you are fighting for or against in your partnership, it is rarely about immovable universal truths,” explain the Zurhorsts. Right or wrong? Get away from this categorization!

9. Revealing comparisons

Do you keep thinking that other partnerships are more exciting? That your new colleague is more mysterious than your own wife? That the returning customer is sure to listen better than your husband? Maybe you would need something completely different from your partner … Nothing! With such comparisons you can simply check your run-in paths. Recognize them as a sign: There is no tension, your own wife no longer seems so mysterious, your own husband no longer listens properly. You don’t need the kick of the other, but the courage to ask yourself questions – and to discuss them with your partner.

10. Crises are good

In fact, we’ve all learned that crises are negative. But that doesn’t always apply! “Every crisis has its own message that prevents you from doing anything in your life and in your relationship as before,” said the Zurhorsts. Become a crisis understanding! These phases cause pain or discomfort, but they also force you to look more closely and consciously. If you accept the crisis and work with it, it will bring you a healthy change of course – and thus become a relationship saver.

and why all this?

After shopping, quickly stow all the groceries in the refrigerator. No matter where. The main thing is that they are cool. Correct? Not correct! We’ll tell you how to put your refrigerator in the right place, what’s not to be found here, and the best way to clean the device.

What belongs where

Since warm air rises, it is known that the upper levels of the refrigerator are warmer than the lower levels. The more heat sensitive a food, the lower it should be stored. Incidentally, the optimal refrigerator temperature is between 4 and 8 ° C, as reported by “spiegel.de”.

  • Top compartment: jams, sauces, smoked meat
  • Second compartment from the top: dairy products such as yogurt, cheese and curd cheese
  • Second compartment from the bottom: cooked food
  • Lower compartment: meat, fish and sausages
  • Vegetable compartment: fruit and vegetables – with exceptions

And the following applies to the refrigerator door …

  • Above: butter and eggs
  • Middle: opened tubes, e.g. Mustard and Paradeismark, and glasses, e.g. with horseradish
  • Below: drinks

  • Fruit vegetables such as cucumbers, tomatoes and melons – they get watery in the refrigerator
  • Tropical fruits like bananas – they turn brown in the refrigerator
  • Potatoes – they turn out sweet in the refrigerator
  • basil

  • Berries like blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries
  • Vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli, peas, carrots, leeks, radishes, mushrooms, spinach, lettuce and asparagus
  • Herbs except basil

How to clean the refrigerator

The refrigerator should be cleaned every four weeks so that dirt and especially germs don’t stand a chance. To do this, switch off the device, remove the food and thoroughly wipe all compartments with a clean sponge, warm water and all-purpose cleaner. Wipe dry with water and a cloth. If mold has spread in the refrigerator, you should clean it with vinegar. Then, as described, clean, wipe dry – and you’re done.

There is a fine line the food industry treads. Confusing terminology and misinformation often hide the origin, processing method or content of a product, while the company is still operating in the legal realm. Often only a look at the small print reveals the full truth about the product. But who reads the entire text printed on the packaging? Just. And until then, the industry will help itself with small, legal tricks.

1. Strawberry yogurt without strawberries

What does strawberry yogurt have to do with strawberries? Very little. What does strawberry yoghurt have to do with tomatoes or sawdust? Much more than that. The reason: There aren’t enough strawberries in the world to fill every yoghurt on the market. So something else has to be found. And these are tomatoes or sawdust. With the help of microorganisms, strawberry flavor is obtained from them. By the way: in order for a strawberry yoghurt to be called itself the same, it has to contain just one percent real fruit.

2. Turkey salami with pork

Anyone who thinks they are eating pork-free when they order a roll with turkey salami in the delicatessen department is wrong. Because all too often the name belies the actual content of the sausage. The reason: Since turkey fat liquefies at lower temperatures compared to other types of fat, pork fat or fat is often added. This ensures the right consistency, improves the taste and is completely legal in Austria. There are only two rules that must not be broken: According to the Austrian Food Code, the proportion of bacon must not exceed the 30 percent limit and must be included in the list of ingredients.

3. Austrian from abroad

We like regional products. Because they are somehow healthier and on top of that they protect the environment. For example, we buy pork that, according to the packaging, comes from Austria – and then have a schnitzel from, let’s say, Germany on our plate. How it works? Very easily! As soon as the animal is raised and slaughtered in this country, it can be sold as an Austrian product. No matter where it actually comes from, i.e. is born. This regulation applies to poultry, pork, sheep and goat meat. So far, the matter has only been regulated more clearly for beef and veal: the country of birth must also be stated here.

4. Chocolate bananas without bananas

Do you fancy a chocolate banana? Soon no longer. The cult snack has seldom seen a banana in its sweet existence. Which you probably already suspected. But what you may not have known: A mixture of alcohol, acetic and sulfuric acid gives the chocolate banana its typical taste. Somehow not that tasty!

5. Confusing labels

Sometimes it seems like manufacturers are deliberately misleading consumers. Let’s take the example of strawberry yogurt again: if it says “strawberry aroma”, that doesn’t mean that it must have ever seen a strawberry.
